Bear sightings have been on the increase in Sonoma County. Sebastopol Police posted a social media photo of a bear with a caption saying we are bearing witness to something unusual. And, he's lost his bearings. All fun aside, police do want people to be aware. This is the time of year when cubs leave their mothers and find their own space. A black bear has been seen near Hessel Road and near the city's edge. Another bear has been seen in Cotati. If you seen one, stay away and call the police. (photo courtesy BBC Wildlife Magazine)
